Detached Houses

This project focuses on the friendliness of urban street spaces and the comfort of living spaces. The design concept stems from the harmonious coexistence of architecture with streets, communities, and the natural environment. The building is cleverly divided into two segments to reduce the sense of pressure on the street, creating a more pleasant spatial experience for the surrounding environment.

Firstly, the segmentation and setback of the building volumes align the pedestrian scale with the architectural form. Simple lines are used to outline the building’s contour, and the interplay of horizontal and vertical lines emphasizes its geometric beauty, shaping a clean and modern architectural language. In some areas, cantilever designs are adopted to enhance the sense of layering and enrich the architectural expression. The façade features a neutral, warm white color palette, with well-placed windows and balcony designs fostering good interaction with nature, while also creating comfortable indoor and outdoor living spaces. The “Half-Divided Residence” starts from a human-centered design approach, and through segmented treatment and refined façade design, it reflects respect and response to the urban environment, while offering residents a living experience that combines aesthetics with functionality.
